Observatory, Air-Port-City (2008) by Tomás Saraceno is a visionary experiment in floating architecture and alternative habitats. Installed in London, this inflatable, modular structure envisions airborne living environments that defy gravity and conventional urban planning.

Inspired by the interconnected geometries of soap bubbles, spiderwebs, and cloud formations, Saraceno’s work merges architecture, ecology, and technology to propose new ways of inhabiting space.

A precursor to his later Aerocene project, Air-Port-City challenges the boundaries between art, science, and the built environment.
