It must be repeated unendlingly that In 1900, Europeans were around 30% of the global population, and Sub-Saharan Africans were about 5%.

Everyone has grown up with this idea that there have always been billions of Africans and it's always been a continent of tons of people which is a problem.

It's long been my contention that a big issue White people ran into in the early 20th century was the delusion of "there's so many of us, the world will never run out!". This same conceit can be seen in China today.
