When I hear criticism of federated custodial solutions, I think people fail to realize that most will not be able to use Bitcoin in a non custodial way. The good news is, unlike current systems, a custodial user will always be able to work their way into financial sovereignty and can permissionlessly move away from custodians when they can afford to. It will be in the federations best interest to do good by thier users because the competition will be great. Bitcoin is a force for decentralization of all things after all isn't it...
