Bitcoin is exactly like corn. You store it for when you are going to need it. Its valuation in USD does not matter at any given time.

If you really want to eat the specific corn that you have stored - you are happy you have it regardless of its past and present price in USD. If for whatever stupid reasons you are eating your corn when you don't really want it, you are wasting it. The stupid ones get beaten even in a church.
