Information is valuable an monetising it with adds, is not something that Nostr really wants or goes with the ethos. IMO.
Having said that ZBD was a thing a few months ago, had adds. And others will come.
Nostr notes are public, is not a bug it’s a feature.
Nostr posts are public for now. Over time clients will offer the abilty to encrypt. FanFares.io is the first.
Decryption keys will be given to friends of sold to fans for zaps.

if you are thinking of income for creators, then crowd funding is the mechanism. Most people don't bother to tip with v4v apps.
If you are thinking of the cost to monitor, then charging 1 sat is enough. The feds would have to pay everyone to monitor everything.
