Why does the #Node save and show my wallet details, like the balance?

Isn't it supposed to scan and synch to the #Bitcoin #blockchain while remaining agnostic to any specific connected wallets, thus enhancing #privacy?

Doesn't it defeat the purpose of running a node in the first place if it's gonna save my wallet details?
