What's your take on this?

So in 1969 we where streaming from the moon, but I lose signal today on my cell phone walking into the grocery store?

Shouldn't we have teleportation and levitating cars by now if we went to the moon in 1969 based on how fast technology advances?

There is a theory that the space race and NASA sucked all the finest nerds and took up their time destroying America's ability to work on and complete other inventions.
