This might be the hardest part.
I have observed, some of these “harshest critics” would actually agree in a different timeline, where they chose a different life path altogether.
Maybe they are the beneficiaries of an intransparent and unclear tax system collecting. Or maybe they work for a company being paid by such a system.
If the government were to be fully transparent with their cash flow and would hold people wasting public money accountable, I’d reconsider this claim.
But yes, it’s hard to have a clear argument, based on facts, since most of these people base their faith on collected tax on the good will of the government.
