Not to be a downer but here’s an anecdotal experience from the insurance world. Every single day now, I have someone tell me they can’t afford their insurance anymore. Home, auto, you name it. These aren’t high risk, low credit score types with shit risk profiles. These are all older retirees. They’ve had multiple of their retired friends forced to downsize their homes and go back to work just to survive. Their homes were their only assets. The homes have appreciated drastically in our area but the taxes and insurance are pricing them out. I know the Fed thinks it has another print and maybe that’s technically feasible from a fiat monetary perspective. But I don’t know how it’s possible from a real life perspective. That would be a level of inflation that breaks the average person who is already on the brink. People desperately need Bitcoin.
