Replying to Avatar Wasted Potential

Looks like #GrapheneOS uses more battery power compared to pixelOS. I wonder why? With all the background telemetry disabled, I was expecting significantly better if not the same. nostr:npub1235tem4hfn34edqh8hxfja9amty73998f0eagnuu4zm423s9e8ksdg0ht5 Is my finding a one off event?

I would expect that any security (or privacy) focused OS decides against using efficient code where this conflicts with security (or privacy). Cutting corners and skipping checks can save battery.
