I don't like -as a non American - a few thinks Trump is doing. But didn't your forefathers create exactly this tool for your president, including checks and balance tools? So how can an elected politician like Ilhan Omar not respecting that. I wonder who is the antidemocrat here not accepting your constitution. We are having the same problems in Germany just now. Our establishment is just trying to forbid one of an elected party (AFD). In Rumania the EU just annulated a democratic election just because the "wrong" candidate won.

That's a very good point. There are certainly criticisms that you could levy at Donald Trump, but it's incredibly disingenuous to label him a dictator simply for trying to fold USAID, an institution that surreptitiously exchanges money, often from oligarchs but also extorted from American tax payers, to influence to affairs of foreign countries. The deep state is able to do so with a degree of plausible deniability because they can make the claim that there is no connection between USAID and the US Gov. Trump is dismantling that, and now they will be held accountable for tier meddling in other countries affairs. This is what has their knickers in a twist, that they can't meddle with impunity.
