Bitcoin can provide permissionless payments and Nostr can provide permissionless social apps etc, but they're not a magical solution to Digital ID / CBDCs.

The only realistic way to combat Digital ID / CBDCs is mass non-compliance, like we saw with the covid passports.

Longer-term, we need mass adoption of alternative technologies that preserve privacy. Zero-knowledge cryptography will be required.
