How to keep a #man happy #1:

Let him have some alone time in his #mancave. In general, men don't need much social interaction to feel fulfilled. They like to problem solve, and challenge themselves. Bring him the occasional #coffee or #beer, and he'll occupy himself #tinkering away. When he shows you something he's made, its usually because he attempted something and accomplished it. So even if those shelves he made look like a stack of sticks and planks held together with hopes and dreams, he desperately want your approval. Tell him he did good, not in a condescending way, in a #respectful way. He needs to hear it, because its so rare for us to hear #compliments about the things we do.

I agree, most men are simple creatures.

For the most part we are. We have simple needs, and simple motivations. A drive to succeed; to acquire goods and chattels; to feel wanted and needed; to protect and enjoy the people things we possess. Our only real complexity is emotion. We struggle to express ourselves, and occasionally it is expressed in uncontrollable outbursts, if a healthy method of release cannot be found.
