more reason to NOT embrace metric. Base 10 is fine for money, but it hides beautiful things such as this and sacred geometry

This gentleman over here is a man of culture. Metric is linked with the money indeed, particularly to the early centralized banks. I wanna say Bank of England but it was not the first. Anyway, this is an amazing rabbit hole! Simon Stevin is one of the names the popped out as I was digging into this.
