Peg compound/paste smells like shoe polish. Makes me think of when I was a kid and my old stepdad would ask my big brother and I to polish the shoes. I liked doing that. Taking something and making it look all new again was fun. I didn’t really enjoy folding laundry and crushing spices with the pestle and mortar though. Bit boring. I do, however, enjoy it now.
