I stopped reading 451 about 5 pages in... the first interaction the MMC had with a woman was so cringe I couldn't take it. Especially after having recently reread 1984 and the cringe of Julia. Made me remember why I gave up on reading male authors, "classics" or not 😂

Have you read Oryx and Crake? My friend recommended it and think I might try it next.
