Fucking morons, anyone with half a brain has known since the late seventies that planned obsolescence would wreck the planet!!!

Build stuff that can be repaired, and do so whenever necessary, always!!! nostr:note1m82v0y3xqjf3pq48qhj6uhxlhug8kqzt4rdlwmcg8ewq95rglv3sktgdwg

To me it's kind of strange.

I often repair things and most people say "Why don't you buy a new one? It's not that expensive!"

And yet I know that most things are not expensive in monetary price. But they are overly expensive for the environment. It is not cheap to buy new things when the old one can be repaired.

I love that with my 3d printing service I am saving a lot of things/goods/tools/toys that would otherwise end as waste. It's mostly a small plastic part that has to be replaced to make it work again.

It's totally not understandable why companies are not required to have spare parts available for all products the ever made.

I mean it's more business on my side so it's a win for me.

It’s pure lunacy and a LOT of learned helplessness!!

Totally agree, a lot of people believe that recycling is the holy grail, so they can consume without having a guilty conscience. 🤢
