Would Trump's security detail not at least be headed up by someone who he personally trusts with his life, has a long-standing relationship with, and has been fully vetted? If this is true, would this person realistically oversee the blatant 'errors' that allowed Trump to be 'shot'?

Or is his safety in the hands of someone who is assigned to him by the secret service with an ulterior motive?

I find it hard to believe that it was a genuine assassination attempt if the former is true.

Trump has a long history of terrible personnel decisions, appointing people to high positions who semi-openly sabotage his decisions.

Putting someone who wants him dead in charge of security is 100% par for the course.

Putting someone merely blackmailable and complicit would be above-average.

😂😂😂😂

I didn't think of it like that

I think Trump 'expects' people to do the right things.

He has a tendency to trust people. Research is history and businesses.

I think he has learned the hard way that does not work in Politics. Let's see if I'm right when he gets elected - if he can stay alive.
