I’m dealing with a similar issue (tub overflow leaking). I called a plumber.

I have a tendency to make things I “fix” 100000 worse than before I intervened.

Know thyself.

I’m fuckin tarded, I know that.

I had to swap that out last year…

This has been leaking for years…

Actually fixing it because our water prices are going up again.
