Started explaining communism to my 11 year old, yes there is no private property, you don’t really own anything I said (apologies for the simplification), “what about clothes? That is just weird”, she said, to which I said, “yes it is, I couldn’t explain why people think it is a good idea, unless, just maybe if they already don’t have clothes and are envious of those with clothes, it seems like a good idea to vote someone in who will aim to redistribute the clothes.
