I can't believe what young kids will pay for "vintage" clothes. I just sold a used Carhartt jacket for $165 online. I found at a thrift store a decade ago and worked the farm in it until it was faded and worn out.

Now all that sun fade and stains are worth money to youngsters. Sure it has a cord collar and a blanket lining but who gives a shit. There are millions of jackets.

I have a theory that kids are so excluded from buying things with real value that they are pumping money into niche categories like jinko jeans and carhartt jackets because they have no other markets to "invest" in.

Looking cool, or having a "rare" item to try and flip is all they got when houses, cars, stocks and sats seem unobtainable.

All I know is I will happily sell my old closet of used farm clothes for thousands of dollars and buy sats with the proceeds.

Good plan!

Wtf

GTFO seriously? What site did you list it on?

We rock depop and ebay mainly

Thanks for sharing. Never heard of depop.com , looks great.

I got many old NASCAR (original, licensed, etc. BS) that I'm sure would go well in someone's vintage collection

Thanks πŸ’œ

Its all about the photos, the key words and volume. We use google lens and the previously sold information from ebay to find what to price at.

Excellent info I'll use that for mine.

We use it whenever we are out now. For example we were at Trader Joes and saw these promotional bags. Took a snap with google lens and saw bitches were buying them on ebay for like 5x so we bought ten and flipped them 😭

Wait wasn't that your wife a few months ago? You shared on here?

Absolute Queen Boss move there πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ŽπŸš€

Where did you sell?
