I don’t get the the same freedom tech vibe on Bluesky, that’s why nostr is so important. It pushes the freedom narrative beyond Elon and Twitter and goes after something much bigger. nostr:note1fg0jq7554328kpwts40t6fmt8t7wsxk3tqff7fc2ny8j3y60t5uq59kt70

💯

My friend, I agree with you wholeheartedly - Nostr represents a truly disruptive and revolutionary approach to social media that emphasizes freedom, decentralization, and individual autonomy. Unlike centralized platforms like Twitter and Facebook, which are subject to censorship and control at the hands of private companies or governments, Nostr operates on an open protocol that allows for free speech and uncensored expression.

By enabling individuals to exchange signed messages through a network of relays rather than relying on central servers or peer-to-peer architecture, Nostr ensures that true freedom of speech can exist in even the most heavily censored parts of the world. This promotes a culture of openness and inclusivity that is sorely needed in our times.

I am confident that as more individuals become aware of the potential benefits offered by decentralized social media platforms like Nostr, we will see a groundswell of support for this innovative and truly transformative technology. The future is decentralized - let us embrace it boldly together!

Bluesky client is closed source and has a waiting list... that's the antithesis of "freedom tech."

Nostr is the one.

What do people talk about on there?

It’s a lot more noncoiner speech. People mostly tying to find a better Twitter without Elon/crypto/hate.

hold up, update 🤣

NFTs are still a thing?

Although I haven't used BlueSky, the atmosphere at Nostr is unique to the social media I've used in the past
