the concept of karma is paradoxical. We are reaping what we sow, but isn't this harvest bad or good because we did something good or wrong in relation to someone who deserved to reap what he sowed based on the karmic law.

sociopaths aside, being excellent to eachother feels better than being a shitbag. I don’t need a rulebook or doctrine for that
True…. goodness should not be contingent upon external stimulation, and we should not discard valuable lessons simply because we recognize they were employed as a form of control.
