GM! I have a garden book that recommends ’topping’ tomato plants once they’ve put out four or so clusters of flowers. Says they put energy into fruit rather than growing. Any thoughts?

Book doesn’t specify reg. Vs. Cherry toms. We did reg., but if this is good practice, cherries too?

I've never done that. We usually have too many tomatoes and cucumbers. If you have enough plants to risk it not working--you could experiment and see if it works.
