Couldn't you just log in as anyone and need with their list? Or add spam tags as someone else 🤔

If using npub probably best to have a password, like nostr.build. they do login via DM code as well.
Yeah, that's the downside...it appears that for the average Android user without a desktop or Amber solution, there's not much available. Also, there's not a whole lot of vandalism protection built-in, another potential issue in the future. I need to solve that soon. Currently backing up db every hour. I'm torn about this decision, but it seem work for gifbuddy.
I think a few places use the DM a code option. It's a simple way to prove account ownership.
