Great. I’m too impatient to start reading and finish up a book.

My trick? Book club. I’m forced to read it!

Feel like rewriting Nostream in Elixir…

#[5] is working on an elixir relai afaik!

Holy shit! #[3] learning Elixir! 🚀

Decent read? Might swoop a copy.

Manning is the best!

Genial ☺️. On est déjà près pour stocker le maximum de sats ⚡ 🚀. Let's go 🚀

Bonjour monsieur!

Je ne parle pas français.

Okay

I was saying that we are already close to stacking as many sats ⚡ as possible and that God bless you for all that you do for the community.

Anybody who reads that book should come work for me.

On what?

What is it that you do?

RooSoft showed me this book! Elixir is awesome.

Indeed. Should we rewrite Nostream in Elixir?

How pleromantic

🤓

I’d like to see everything rewritten in Elixir! Roo’s Relay is almost brand new and it’s only been him working on it. Adding to that would make us both very happy! (Check out the commits)

https://github.com/RooSoft/relay

It’s very basic and isn’t storing data yet. Roo does everything by the book so you should find the code is very clean and applies the best practices. I’m a noob though just trying to learn still. If you have questions about running it I can help, like with the config files.

Idk if you guys are acquainted but he wrote a bitcoinlib/ln client in elixir as well as a nostr relay. #[3]

Thanks for bringing this up, codl! The relay is working fine but lacks memory for the time being. Will be implemented after the conference.

Feel free to reach me about it anytime!

And yeah, this book also is the first one I read. There are a bunch of good ones.

This one contains what my relay needs to acquire memory.

I’m thinking about reading Phoenix in Action next but I have like 6 books already waiting in queue for this spot to "open"

It’s a fair statement to argue against that you have thieves.

⭕️

I’m not going to fight against a great usurper.

I’ll just flow 🦦with the stream.

Totally

That one is great! It leaves you with decent little challenges at the end of each chapter to make sure you understood and didn’t miss things.
