In case of emergency: on your cellphone like iphone do not use iMessage. It will go off line rapidly. Use SMS protocol instead. It will be the last protocol to go down and the first to get back up
Look up how to disable iMessage
But it falls back to sms if it can’t deliver to other iMessage user
