What's the best method for telling if an account is a real human or a bot on Nostr? The more I think about this, the more I realise there is no way to do so. And even if it were possible to tell, a human scammer might be in control of hundreds of accounts, using them to scam all of us. I will be culling my 'follow list' with these thoughts in mind in the future. And I shall be muting even more than I already mute.

I'm talking about this because I want Nostr to become successful; we need to work out ways to avoid being conned in order to make it successful

Speak enough with an AI and you will see that they cannot change pace. They keep going in the same direction and even if you show empathy they never follow your point of view. Plus . When you say them they are AI they never reply. Humans would get offended

A lot of the mask wearers are just the most naive. I have many good friends here who believed in the pandemic bullshit and got vaxxed. It's sad, but it is what it is

Same here. At a family wedding this week. Many medical professionals and finance people here. Many are talking about inflation, assets and leaving the UK. One convo touched on btc but I got shut down as its drug users money. I agreed, many crooks and banks including Jamie Dimon’s JP Morgan are offering (paper) bitcoin lol

As you can imagine I’m either the life of the party here or a conspiracy theorist. They just don’t see it, and bitcoin is right in front of them.

I think the same thing, I'm also going to gradually mute the accounts that only repost without ever adding any content or comments, those that only post memes that have already been seen everywhere, and finally those that only post quotes that don't belong to them without adding anything.

Bot or not, they have a similar automated "copy/paste" operation.

I want my feed to be filled with your unique and original posts, your ideas and your reactions, not those of a third party because otherwise I'll follow them directly!
