Perhaps get Purple if you want to support the developer making the Damus app.
However, if you get Purple, I think Apple takes their 30% cut.
So maybe just zapping the developer directly on Nostr would be more effective.

I’m a damus user myself, works fine for me, got used to using it since I discovered nostr.. I love the whole idea behind Nostr also! I’m kinda triggered to get Purple, but at the same time I’m not sure why I should get it also 😅
What are your experiences with Purple (if you have any)?
