Firefighting is a unique career, where grown ass men with families in their 30s, 40s & 50s still have contests (& vehemently debate) who can throw the furthest, run the fastest, swim the fastest, lift the most, etc.
Junior high playground vibes for 30 years.

Over the years when police and or fire would come to the emergency department, it was apparent who demonstrated proof of work and who did not . Grateful though when each showed up upon request. Memories.
