Sixth note, I’m celebrating changing from the word “post” to “note”. See my previous notes for the erroneous “post” lingo 😅Anyway, as a musician I like the word note better (🎶) — I plan to share many more notes on Nostr, both musical and otherwise!
Here’s a short set of two Irish fiddle tunes for your listening pleasure! The lyrical Arran Boat Song followed by the off kilter slip jig Kid on the Mountain.
Also, I’m curious to try something new: drop a zap ⚡️ and comment a theme/word for my next video. Tomorrow I’ll improvise a tune inspired by the theme of the highest zapper!! What do you think??

My pleasure. When I was a kid there were 2 instruments that I was enamored but not enough to pursuit it : bass and violin.
I see in you, visions of the manifestation of it. And you are a breath of fresh creativity on Nostr.

Aww that is so kind of you to say Cristalina. I know what you mean being enamored of different instruments… I have many of those myself!! Piano, drums, clarinet… I guess that’s why I became a composer, so I could write for instruments I can’t play well.
I almost learned piano.... I was 10, my teacher said I was very good...but when he said I was going to play on an event I quited, and nevermore went to classes ..I regret it till today.
I know the feeling, performing is so nerve wracking, especially for a kid! I was so scared for my first concert when I was 6 years old. During one of my pieces I forgot the music 😦 and stopped playing… I then searched the audience for my parents and when I found them I jumped off the front of the stage and ran to them crying 😭 lol I honestly still get super nervous when I go on stage, but after years of doing it I finally know how to deal with the nerves 😬
