Weirdly maybe I was lucky I was such an awful sinner. I know I did not deserve forgiveness but God forgave me.

Luck is not a Christian concept. God is sovereign. God chose you for salvation before the foundation of the world. It had to happen. Luck had nothing to do with it.

All I meant by "was lucky such a bad sinner" was it was clear to me I needed a savoir since I sinned so bad. A lot of people think they are good enough where they don't need a savior. I was "lucky" because I knew without a doubt I needed one. I understand that luck is not a Christian concept in the sense you are using it.
