I've bought so much Bitcoin that I'm having to sell stocks to pay the bills.

Irresponsibly long the corn.

Still a better way to pay bills.

Causing a shift in assets, but I can't bear to separate from gold or Bitcoin, so the stonks gotta go.

Bizarre having no fiat savings. Need to liquidate hard assets to pay for vacation. 😂 Woops.

Go you!

Hubby's like, our wealth is up on the year?

Yes, by quite a bit.

But we don't have any euros at all?

Nope.

No dollars?

Nope.

So, we're wealthier, but also bankrupt.

Yup.

😐

😐

😐

But... So what?

It's a weird feeling. And a tax event. 😂

I... Am not gonna pay taxes on my dealings with BTC. The IRS can get bent.

Try that with company shares. 😂

Well... Yeah, that's harder.

Brave move. Yet to do it but getting close…

Good business does good business. Both Gold and BTC gain value based on inputs rather than outputs. There's also just shit companies too.

I wanted to get rid of some, anyway, like OSRAM. Total dud.

the lighting company??

Yeah. They got bought and the shares are languishing.

Suspect stocks have peaked, anyway. Just more inflation, from here, and that all ends up in Bitcoin.

I have a hard time thinking of fiat as savings anymore. I now think of it as a very short expense runway.

We've been keeping 3 months worth of fiat in the bank, to avoid this situation, but it didn't work. 😂 A gazillion larger purchases had to be made within a month, like replacing an oddly-shaped, panorama window.

Ain't nobody got fiat for that.

I don't have any stocks...have to go to the fiat salt mines for bills

Well, so do we, but I stacked almost all of our fiat reserves away and we just got hit with a gazillion gigantic bills. Bad planning on my part, I guess. Oh well.

Good tradeoffs. Looking back in 20 years, observers will consider you approach brilliant.

You can always buy more stocks...
