I don’t think so. I did not come here first with any help or for Bitcoin reasons.

Understood, many did though. Myself included, Just like many tried lightning or element.io during the last bull run because of bitcoiners.

True. That’s a good point. It’ll be interesting to see!

I'm not sure which way I lean yet but I do wonder

I think nostr can stand on its own and we need freedom of speech tech but I do think the Bitcoin network effects can give it a boost and vice versa.

Agreed I believe it can stand on its own. I think once there are people coming that are not mostly bitcoined mindset will be the next big influx. A lot of IRL peers don’t see a need to come here yet. I think once there is more context and ideas outside of Bitcoin may help with that. However I feel it’s getting better. But we will see. I’m with you I am not sure yet.

I don’t think, decreasing the amount of bitcoin generated by each block shouldn’t affect Nostr adoption

Unless number go up :)

If by number you mean bitcoin’s price, then I still believe bitcoin’s increase in price will not affect nostr adoption either.

( i hope it does, but I think it won’t)

Yeah I did. You don’t think so? Nostr is kind of a bitcoin thing still, I’ve been thinking that as sats become more of a mainstream unit people will be more open to ways they can use sats. Additionally, as actually understanding bitcoin spreads out, the appeal of decentralization will spread too. Both factors increasing Nostr adoption.

I agree with you but what you’re talking about is bitcoin adoption, what i was saying is that bitcoin increasing or decreasing in price shouldn’t affect nostr because we have seen volatility in the past and it didn’t affect nostr. However, if bitcoin adoption increases, then yes, nostr adoption should increase.
