Replying to Avatar Vitor Pamplona

I used Gentoo as my daily driver on a Sony laptop for 4 years between 2007 and 2011. I appreciate the knowledge I gain of compiling the kernel and every app from scratch, but from a productivity perspective, it was a complete waste of time.

IMO it makes a lot of sense to simply use Debian and Arch (with archinstall it's as easy as Ubuntu those days). Both are community driven distros, easy to maintain and very secure.
