what worries me about this, I have a dear friend currently at the National War College who says this is what every presenter’s research says as well, that the collapse is immanent. Preface this of course with the fact that all the researchers there are spending all their time looking at threats and see the world wholly through that lens.

imminent collapse is not what im thinking at least. i think that is what they want, and is actually an example of what i mean.
i think specific systems are going to have serious contractions.
that is going to be scary enough for some who have never seen or conceived of that. they will be more inclined to believe that “collapse is imminent”.
it really isnt. i think the bureaucracy is what is starting to shake.
Yeah my friend is skeptical too, because again it is these analysts’ and researchers’ whole vocations to map threats. These were economic in nature, the blowing up of them debt situation that we’re all well aware of here on nostr, and the implications for the Armed Forces.
