I have known 2 men (both brothers of past relationships/friendships, not known to each other), who had psychotic episodes needing hospitalisation, triggered by cannabis around age 18. Both were diagnosed with schizophrenia and put on lifetime drugs which completely altered their personalities and eventually caused them to need to live back home with parents, following another episode requiring hospitalisation around age 40ish. 🧡🥹😥
