How Much Electricity Does A PS5 Use?

The PlayStation 5 uses between 50 and 200 watts when in use, although it is rated for a higher wattage which it may use with more advanced games or when working with PlayStation VR in future.

Assuming connecting it to a 27" monitor (150W), and playing it 2 hours a day, each PS5 would consume

0.15+1.15 =0.3 kWh x 2 hours = 0.6 kWh/day

and 219 kWh/year

There are about 32,000,000 PS5s in circulation, so the total annual consumption "due to PS5s" is

219x32,000,000=7,008,000,000 kWh/year = 7 TWh/year
