Dang. I mean i have alby hub and it’s pretty nice. It is just your own node and channels still, but they provide a lightning address which is great

Do they automatically handle rebalancing channels, watchtowers, etc? The other problem I was having with Zeus “node on the phone” was it was very slow to boot up, and slow to find the channel route (1+ minute per zap).
I used Alby a year or so back, but it’s been a while
The way i use it is literally just an interface on my local network or via tor kinda like normal zeus (not node in the phone zeus) but with a LN address. Might be a paid tier or something that does more. I haven’t looked into that at all
Oh and works for zaps of course. Also there is a nifty secondary app i use called Alby Go™ that is a quick and easy lightning wallet for using out in the wild if you ever find the chance
Overall i enjoy Alby Hub, it’s gud. Sometimes i need to restart my router to connect to it but i think that’s most likely my node hardware’s fault
