I bet most people don’t care if their currency is devalued. Most probably don’t even know why money loses value. And the majority of those probably don’t even think about devaluation in those terms - instead, they just see things getting more expensive and don’t understand why.

Most of them were taught by college educated mid wits who think inflation is natural.
Most people learn to not keep cash around. That's why they buy a house first. So, yes they don't care.
BUT, most people know things always get more expensive and negotiating salary raises every time is hard and would prefer avoiding it if they could.
In my experience, you are correct.
It's definitely a lack of education or vocabulary type thing. They understand that there's a problem, but they don't really know why it's happening. So the resort to blaming greed and capitalism.
I learned that the cause of all inflation is energy prices, according to the pro Trump propaganda.
If you let the dirty hippies do anything to protect any inch of the environment it raises the cost of gas. Since everything gets shipped that raises the cost of everything else.
Honestly decent propaganda since energy costs do tend to inflate first.
The person I talked to was absolutely unwilling to consider that the number of dollars in circulation affects the cost of energy or anything else.
Of course, US M2 is not friendly to Dear Leader so I can see why not.
Was basically me. If prices went down it was a miracle and wonder, but if they went up just apathetically think "That's just how it is".
Same, I was that person once 😆
💯
Most people simply believe the money IS the value.
Many such cases.
They do know. It is because of the capitalism. 🐑
They've been told it's greed and capitalism. They'd believe it of we told the the tooth fairy took it.
i think most people have base level thoughts going on because life beats you down and it’s hard enough to just get by
Most have no idea it's depreciating
It is not by chance that the crowd doesn’t know about devaluation of currencies.
