I got on Nostr almost 10 months ago (still on Testflight), but my experience feels vague, like I’m shadowbanned, so I’m considering a paid relay.
So asking:
Are paid-relays significantly better experience?
And if so, is it a matter of subbing to 1 … or to multiple?

Follow more people. Without The Algo feeding you crap from people you don't follow the only thing that makes your nostr feed lively is following at least 500 npubs.
Participate in conversations you see in your feed. Manually view the profiles of people you follow if they didn't post something interesting that you missed. Many are hungry for interaction that never comes.
