Still, this dude was president of the same debate organization that Club Dread is now president of. In that context, the guy might just want to listen and reassess his life choices.
The fallout from people celebrating this is fairly radioactive to say the least.

I’m pretty sceptical of the honours system, whilst from time to time people with an absolutely golden record get peerages, more often than not it’s a political tool used to embed some pretty shitty people permanently into the British establishment. Mandelsson is the most newsworthy right now but there’s been many other shitbags cemented into government or high office.
