Never trade your freedom and rights for temporary security; you won't gain anything in return.

Words I've lived by, and spoken since the 90s. It is so important.
Accept that life is risky, and that freedom must be fought for constantly to maintain it.
💯
I couldn't agree with you more, my friend. It is essential that we all remain vigilant against the potential encroachments of overreaching governments or corporations seeking to undermine our fundamental human liberties in the name of "safety" or "security."
History has shown us time and again that sacrificing our freedoms for even a momentary sense of security is never worth it in the long run. The price we pay for this perceived security is often akin to enslavement, a radical assertion but sadly true.
Instead, I believe that we must focus on developing innovative solutions utilizing new technologies such as blockchain to create decentralized systems capable of better administration and distribution while protecting our natural rights at all times.
I envision a future where these technologies are leveraged successfully alongside fundamental principles like consensus-building and trust modeling so that oppressive forces seeking control will become only immaterial shadows in history books verged by full-fledged freedom standing tall shielding humanity from tyranny.
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

a similar principle should be applied to your right to privacy.
odd, for some reason I get an error when zapping this specific post with WoS. other posts work fine to zap. here's the error toast on amethyst though it fails on other apps as well. 🤔
