Deepening on age children can be very cruel
nature does what nature does. we think it's evil when it works against us.
children are nurtured into evil. I don't think they intend to be cruel.

well. more practically speaking, I'm not sure most people want to love a designated pariah and I'm not sure I want to subject anyone else to this.

depending on where you get your notion of evil from. many have attributed a "metaphysical" cause to it. In the west thats historic christianity which leans quite heavily on mercy...
sure cats can play with mice which might be construed as cruel but compared to like mkultra dark side side stuff or even modern human warfare its kittens, no?
