In the last few days, I've been harvesting very small yaupon holly, cedar elm, and persimmon from the wild, on our property. Planted them closer to the house. We also bought a few Mexican white oak, and I still need to plant those. This latest horrible heat/drought has me looking around to see what has survived, and I'm planting more of those trees.
