Small hands hold a lit #lampada,

Flickering 'gainst icon face,

A hymn learned, a whispered "abba,"

In this hallowed, humble place.

To plant the seeds, with tender care,

Of virtue, faith, and ancient rite,

And pray each day, a silent prayer,

That they may walk in purest light.

Though shadows fall, and doubts may rise,

The Cross, a beacon, ever true,

Reflecting love in their young eyes,

A heritage forever new.
