You're proving my point? With did, you can prove you're 21 and buy alcohol without having to give your birthday and address to a high school drop out...
I think the challenge is the unintended / emergent consequences i.e. at scale.
As is the case with 100% of technology. You can't predict whether it will be used in unintended negative consequences any more than you can positive ones.
#nostr keys are basically the same as DIDs
the KYC part is separate, and the secret key as identity tool enables pseudonymity
in all cases, mixing two separate things together is an error
