If I click “see more” on a non-article post and I have to scroll more than one or two swipes with my thumb, I usually just move on without reading the rest of it. Longform exists, people. Use it.

I like Habla.news. Its browser-based. Yakihonne is another popular one and has a good mobile app.
Yes, I use habla.news or highlighter.com. If I wrote an article elsewhere (usually substack) I can paste into highlighter and it keeps the formatting (although just lately it seems to paste an unformatted version before the formatted version for some reason. I just delete the unformatted copy and it is perfect).
try using "paste as plain text" option in the browser, i think the thing is it's copying it as though it might have markup and the paste function is retarded
The whole point is I want to keep the formatting and not have to format the long article a second time. It is really easy to delete the unformatted copy, so it isn't a big deal.

To each his own. Long form on nostr includes support for better formatting of text and images so it flows better. The most popular clients all support displaying them now, so there’s really no reason not to use it.

I believe Amethyst only supports viewing long form, not publishing. You can publish from a few apps. Habla.news, Yakihonne, Highlighter, Freerse are a few I know of.
