I guess we either drill all of the hydrocarbons out of the earth or start mining everywhere for lithium and other battery materials.

The infrastructure could exist. There are companies that build turbine generators that can run a city. They can be set up in a few weeks.

My point is that it *doesn't* exist and a comparison between electric and gas is not as simple as comparing a few vehicles to each other. There are so many other factors for drivers and manufacturers to consider.
