You're sadly correct, the compound effect is a hell of thing. If I didn't become a pot head 7 years ago and put that money towards BTC I'd be in a much better spot today.

I learned my lesson and have been clean for months now. But good habits also have that compounding effect as well and completely change the tragectory of your life in a positive way.
